2. Scholarship Subprogrammes | 奖学金子项目
High-Level Postgraduate Program | 高水平研究生项目
This programme selects international students with strong academic backgrounds, outstanding professional abilities, and development potential to pursue master’s or doctoral degrees at SISU.
本项目按照“个人申请、院校推荐、专家评审、择优录取”的原则，选拔具有优良学科背景、突出专业能力及发展潜力的国际学生来上外攻读硕士或博士学位。
Silk Road Program | 丝绸之路项目
This programme supports the training of professionals in priority fields for Belt and Road partner countries. Eligible applicants from these countries may be considered for designated master’s or doctoral programmes.
本项目重点支持共建“一带一路”国家急需领域专业人才培养，招收相关国家的国际学生来上外攻读项目指定专业的硕士或博士学位。
Shared Application Arrangements | 统一申请安排
The two subprogrammes are not distinguished at the individual application stage. They share the same application period, deadline, and entrance examination arrangements under CSC Type B.
两个子项目在个人申请阶段不作区分，均作为中国政府奖学金B类同步开放申请、同步截止，并同期组织入学笔试和面试。
The High-Level Postgraduate Program is submitted to CSC first. Recommendation places are not duplicated.
高水平研究生项目先于丝绸之路项目上报，推荐名额不重复占用。
Silk Road consideration depends on CSC’s approval of SISU’s project for that year, which is not guaranteed. If approved, SISU will match eligible pre-admitted CSC Type B applicants with the approved majors and organise assessment and recommendation.
丝绸之路项目是否开展，取决于国家留学基金委当年对上外项目的批复，不排除未获批复的可能。如获批，上外将在已申请CSC B类并获得预录取的申请人中，结合获批专业进行匹配、评审及推荐。

4. Eligibility Requirements | 申请条件
Applicants must:

- Be non-Chinese citizens in good health.
为非中国籍公民，身体健康。 - Be no older than 35 when applying for a master’s degree.
申请硕士学位者，年龄不超过35周岁。 - Be no older than 40 when applying for a doctoral degree.
申请博士学位者，年龄不超过40周岁。 - Meet the language requirements for the selected programme.
达到所申请专业的语言要求。 - Meet all other requirements in the 2027 SISU International Student Admission Guide.
同时符合**2027年《上海外国语大学外国留学生招生简章》**中的其他申请要求。

Applicants must also review the 2027 international student admission guide for their chosen degree and programme.
申请人还须查阅2027年外国留学生招生简章，确认所申请学位及专业的具体要求。

Before this deadline, applicants must complete both of the following:

- Submit the initial CSC application and download the Chinese Government Scholarship Application Form.
在CSC系统完成初始申请，并下载《中国政府奖学金申请表》。 - Successfully submit a complete application through the SISU application system.
在上外申请系统成功提交完整申请。
The successful submission time in the SISU application system determines whether the application is accepted before the deadline.
最终受理以上外申请系统成功提交时间为准。
After receiving the programme Admission Notice, applicants must upload it to the CSC system and resubmit their application as instructed to complete the formal scholarship application.
获得专业《录取通知书》后，申请人还须按通知在CSC系统上传该通知书并重新提交，方完成奖学金正式申请。
7. How to Apply | 申请步骤
Step 1 — Complete the Initial CSC Application

Step 2 Submit the SISU Application

Step 4 Attend the Entrance Examination
第四步 参加入学考试
Applicants must attend SISU’s online written examination and interview. Examination arrangements will be sent by email.
申请人须参加上外组织的网络入学考试，包括在线笔试及面试。考试安排将通过电子邮件通知。
Failure to attend is treated as withdrawal from the application.
缺考视为放弃申请。
Step 5 Upload the Programme Admission Notice to CSC
第五步 在CSC系统上传专业录取通知书
After programme admission, SISU will return the original CSC application for amendment. Applicants must upload their programme Admission Notice and resubmit as instructed.
获得专业录取后，学校将在CSC系统退回原申请表。申请人须按通知上传专业《录取通知书》并重新提交。
This return is part of the required application procedure.
此退回操作属于规定申请流程的一部分。
Step 6 — Scholarship Assessment and Final Results
第六步 奖学金评审及最终录取
Only applicants who pass the postgraduate entrance examination may enter the scholarship candidate assessment.
只有通过研究生入学考试的申请人，才有资格参加奖学金候选人评审。
Final scholarship awards are subject to CSC’s expert assessment and approval. Programme admission does not itself guarantee a scholarship.
最终奖学金结果以国家留学基金委专家评审及批准为准。获得专业录取不代表一定获得奖学金。

Applicants must prepare documents according to the university’s Chinese Government Scholarship Application Document Checklist and the relevant 2027 admission guide.
申请人须按照学校**《中国政府奖学金申请材料清单》**及2027年相关招生简章准备材料。
The application must include the Chinese Government Scholarship Application Form downloaded from CSC.
申请材料中须包含从CSC系统下载的《中国政府奖学金申请表》。
File Format and Quality | 文件格式及质量
- All uploaded documents except photographs must be in PDF format.
除照片外，所有上传材料均须为PDF格式。 - Documents must be clear, authentic, and valid.
材料须清晰、真实、有效。 - Professional scanning equipment is recommended. Applicants bear responsibility for problems caused by unreadable documents.
建议使用专业设备扫描；因材料不清晰或无法识别造成的后果，由申请人承担。 - Provide a valid email address and telephone number.
须填写有效的电子邮箱及电话号码。
10. Important Scholarship Conditions | 重要规定
No Concurrent Scholarship Funding | 不得同时享受其他奖学金
Recipients may not simultaneously receive other scholarships from Chinese governments at any level or admitting institutions, except qualifying one-time awards.
奖学金获得者不得同时享受中国各级政府或录取院校设立的其他奖学金资助，各类一次性奖励金除外。
Violations result in cancellation and repayment of scholarship funds already received. Deliberately concealing other funding also leads to a three-year ban on applying for the Chinese Government Scholarship.
违反规定者将被取消资格，并须退还已领取的奖学金。刻意隐瞒资助情况者，还将被禁止在三年内申请中国政府奖学金。
One Type B Assessment Opportunity | B类项目一次参评机会
According to the notice, each CSC Type B applicant has only one assessment opportunity. If a university-recommended candidate fails CSC’s expert assessment, their Type B application for that year ends.
根据本通知，每位CSC B类申请人仅有一次参评机会。学校推荐的候选人如未通过CSC专家评审，其当年的B类项目申请全部结束。
Registration and Original Documents | 报到及原件核验
Recipients must apply for a study visa and register within the specified period. This scholarship cannot be deferred; late arrival results in cancellation of admission and scholarship eligibility.
奖学金获得者须办理来华留学签证，并按规定时间报到。本项目奖学金不可延期，逾期不报到者将被取消入学及奖学金资格。
All original application documents must be presented for verification by SISU’s Graduate School. Missing or fraudulent materials lead to cancellation.
报到时须携带全部申请材料原件，接受上外研究生院核验。材料缺失或弄虚作假者，将被取消入学及奖学金资格。
Changes After Arrival | 来华后变更限制
Recipients may not change their admitting institution, study major, or study period after arriving in China.
奖学金获得者来华后不得变更录取院校、学习专业及学习期限。
Annual Review | 年度评审
Recipients must participate in the scholarship annual review. Failure to pass may result in suspension or cancellation of the scholarship.
奖学金获得者须按规定参加年度评审，评审不合格者将被中止或取消奖学金资格。
